Question by Joe C: What is the best way to become a pro using WordPress?
I’ve used Blogger before and find WordPress terribly difficult and a real challenge. I usually don’t like reading instructions cover to cover.
I’ve put up my first page, trying to load a specific theme, and it failed, appearing out-of-whack. WordPress doesn’t have any support that I’m aware of, except for a stupid forum which appears to be set up so that you can hardly find a post that you placed 10 minutes ago.
I would like to be able to become an expert at it, though – please advise.

Answer by stephene Instead of installing a WordPress instance yourself, try using a freely hosted wordpress isntance on either www.wordpress.com or www.blogsome.com.
They’ve taken care of the configuration and they have a few themes to choose from. Once you use those for a little bit, you can decide whether or not you like the system and if it’s worth the hassle of trying to do any custom configurations.
